4. Discussion of groups, and identification of overlaps and possibilities to combine.
5. Explore interaction between physical and virtual spaces within the contexts of presentation, intervention, interaction…
-LINKS:
Questions of public, accessibility, common resource pool, creative resistance, cultural commons, communications, interactions, playing, exploring art and ideas, how experience can change a subject in order for it to be cultural commons, interventions as activations, how they can pass from being a product to cultural resources, knowledge production, exchange, resources, connections between groups, spatial relations, archives and documentation, alternative means of dissemination in relation to medium and public, idea to create a structure that will be a process that doesn’t have to end, something that can survive, subverting hierarchical knowledge systems, collaboration, operating inside and outside of the institution, exploring the para-institution, transgressive and subvertive practices. Reflection, awareness of process, group interactions…creating readers, continue submitting to blog and the tumblr….and commenting to the blog. Exploring theory, fluid notion of spaces, exploring definitions….intent to present all projects in one space to conclude. – using para-institution as a performative component to create spaces of communication.
Every Thursday 10-12: The Para-Institution workshop: in this session all groups come together, define channels of communication, explore definitions further, interactions, discussions, presentations…
---DIFFERENCES: OUT PUT in terms of medium, format, approach, end product.
Space/Making Stuff focuses on production of things, experiences in public space etc..and Creative Resistance is interested in interaction, response, written format not in relation to physical space, thought as something fluid theoretical grounding also acts of resistance (documentation and archiving meet here, too)
Internet: practical, physical, but at the same time, documentation, important part of communication, working with outside artists.
